Nevada Remote Probe Procedures

1. There will be 2 lanes of traffic with the ability to probe your vehicle from either the North lane or the South lane. The North Lane is extra wide to accommodate for tractors with duals.

2. Please un-tarp your vehicle before getting to the probe station.

3. In order to avoid delays at the probe please call in ahead of time to setup your delivery number at 515-382-5461.

4. Each lane of traffic has two phone stations. The shorter station will be used for Straight trucks and tractors, while the taller station is accessible for semis.

5. Please use these phones on your first load of the day or when vehicle or ownership changes.

6. After you have been probed the traffic light for your lane will indicate when it is safe to proceed. Please obey these lights as empty trucks will now have the right of way.

7. By the time you reach the scale your load will have been graded. After you are weighed please refer to the set of traffic lights which will indicate what pit to use.

8. Upon returning to the scale please watch for changes in the traffic signal at the scale intersection.

9. After you have weighed the second time proceed to the south side of the office to pickup a copy of your ticket.
