Conceal®

Planter

Description

Conceal provides banded nitrogen placement beside the seed. It is a planter fertility attachment that is cleanly tucked into the row-unit and places nutrition in the soil 3 inches away from the seed.

Apply Fertilizer with the Planter

The most efficient time to place fertilizer is during the planter pass, but many planter nitrogen attachments are bulky, messy, and high-maintenance.

Applying nitrogen and other fertilizers with the planter improves placement accuracy and plant availability. Traditional broadcast or fall applied programs leave the fertilizer open to volatilization and loss, not to mention the months of weather can make the fall applications not available in the spring. Plants need fertilizer when they are growing, and that makes the planter the perfect tool to use to feed your crop.

The Best Placement

Conceal uses a knife on one or both sides of the row tucked into a groove in the gauge wheel. The location of the knives ensures that the placement of the fertilizer is always at a consistent depth and always 3” away from the seed. There is no bulk or length added to the row unit, since the knife is concealed within the row unit.

Put your crop’s fertilizer where it can access it, where it is safe from loss, with a tool that doesn’t affect other aspects of planter performance. Place your crop’s fertilizer with Conceal.
