We actively support the communities where we also live and work

At Key Cooperative, there is no higher priority than to be good neighbors and contributors to the communities we serve.

Community Donations

Direct cash contributions to help meet local needs

Any group or organization can make a donation request

Running a successful cooperative is like running any other business in at least one respect: we’re required to make a profit in order to survive. What we do with those profits, however, is one of the big differences between co-ops and other businesses. First, we invest our profits back into the co-op to make sure we are serving our members as efficiently as possible. Second, we return profits to our member-owners. And third, we invest profits back into our communities.

Bushels for Ag

Providing a grain marketing experience for the next generation

Key Cooperative is proud to partner with local FFA chapters to provide a hands-on grain marketing experience. Bushels for Ag was developed in 2012 when Key identified the critical need to educate our next generation producers to better prepare them for their future operations. Each year, Key Cooperative donates bushels of corn and soybeans and encourages their member-owners to get involved as well. Through their Ag Marketing classes, High-School students gain the opportunity to market corn & soybeans in a hands-on simulation. All grain proceeds go directly to local FFA chapters and member-owners have the opportunity to choose which chapter their grain is donated to.
