Traditional seed sensors count dust and seed, giving you inaccurate population counts and that uneasy feeling of not knowing if you can believe your planter monitor. 

When you are planting you need peace of mind, not the uneasy feeling from not knowing if the population on your monitor is the population that you are planting. Many times these inaccuracies are borne from the seed sensor counting dust along with seed. Traditional sensors can be fooled by dust if the dust is thick enough to break the beam of light, where it gets counted as seed.
