Crop and Livestock Outlook in 2023

On February 22nd at Key Cooperative Agronomy Center, Grinnell, Iowa from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Poweshiek/ISU Extension and Outreach will feature Iowa State University Extension Grain Marketing Specialist, Chad Hart and Livestock Marketing Specialist, Lee Schultz to present on “Crop and Livestock Outlook in 2023”.
 
Extreme weather events, domestic and international economic concerns, and the continuing rebound in consumption patterns from the COVID -19 disruption have shaped the agricultural storylines. Chad and Lee will provide analysis and address the 2023 grain markets as well the livestock markets during this 2-hour event.
 
A light lunch will follow this event so please RSVP by February 17, 2023 with Cathy Lents, Poweshiek County Extension Office by calling (641) 623-5188 or emailing clents@iastate.edu.  There is a registration fee of  $10 ($5 for Farm Bureau Members and Iowa Corn Members) will be used to offset the cost towards lunch and other event cost.
