Mar 02, 2023

The Feeding Families food drive was a success! Key Cooperative and the Newton FFA Chapter worked together to collect 820 pounds of non-perishable food items and household products for the East Jasper County Food Pantry.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the food drive! Your contribution is appreciated and it's an honor to be able to give back to the Newton community in this way!

Newton area Key Cooperative members and employees collected 300 pounds of donation items. Members of the Newton FFA Chapter at both Berg Middle School and the Newton High School collected 520 pounds of donation items. The food drive was held February 20-24 in celebration of National FFA week. All donated items will go to the East Jasper County Food Pantry.
