Event Speaker: Kevin Clausen, Principal at John Stewart and Associates

Kevin Clausen joined JSA in 2021 and opened the Anthon, Iowa branch office. Kevin has been involved with agriculture his entire life, growing up on a grain and livestock farm in northwest Iowa where he still farms and feeds cattle today. Kevin and his wife Jaclynn are both originally from the Anthon area and have two high school aged children.

Kevin began his career as a commodity merchandiser with Cargill in Sidney, Ohio. During his 11-year career with Cargill’s Grain and Oilseed Processing division he held various roles in Ohio, Iowa, North Dakota, and Missouri. In his last role with Cargill, he was the General Manager for Cargill’s Sioux City, Kansas City and Wichita crush plants and was a board member for Cargill’s Kansas City biodiesel plant.

In 2013, Kevin joined Koch Industries as General Manager for origination and trading for their 7 ethanol plants. In this position he led the teams responsible for originating 300 million bushels of corn per year and trading risk management strategies.

Kevin Clausen is a registered Associated Person of John Stewart and Associates and a principal in the company. He specializes in risk management and futures brokerage for Commercial clients across the United States in all sectors of production agriculture.
