Key Welcomes New Directors

Feb 01, 2024

The Annual Business Meeting for our member-owners was held on January 24, 2024, at our Grinnell Agronomy Center. A highlight of the meeting was the election results. We're pleased to announce that the following directos have been elected to the Key Cooperative Board.

Southeast incumbent, Chad Hafkey (Grinnell) and Northwest incumbent, Brian Larsen (St. Anthony) both won their seats for another 3-year term. Additionally, Brian Lowry (Searsboro) was elected to fill the Southeast seat and John Koop (Kamrar) was elected to fill the Northwest seat.

The Board of Directors also appointed Chris Davidson (Pella) to the Southeast associate seat. Additionally, the Board appointed a third associate for the first time, naming Eric Henry (Nevada) as a second Northwest Associate, joining Nathan Voight. Elected directors serve a three-year term and associates serve in a nonvoting capacity for two to three years.
